Professional Presentation Skills focuses on the techniques involved in planning and delivering effective presentations. The seminar itself is divided into two major topic areas: Creating Professional Presentations and Delivering Professional Presentations.

Creating focuses on the skills necessary to build a structure that reflects a clear, person-focused approach to needs and benefits. Delivering focuses on the platform skills that will allow the message to be conveyed in a compelling and professional manner. All this translates into more fruitful communications for your people and your organization.

• Gather and analyze information needed to build a successful presentation
• Develop audience-centered presentations that address important needs
• Organize the presentation’s content so that it delivers a clear, logical, and convincing message
• Select visual aids that support and reinforce the presentation
• Create convincing and compelling presentations that help convey the message accurately
• Make effective use of voice, language, nonverbal behavior, visual aids, and audience interaction in delivering a presentation

Tools for Preacher/Trainer Excellence

This is the latest program for preparing ministry leaders to acquire skills that enable them to deliver effective training sessions to your ministry or marketplace. As a result of participating in Tools for Preacher/Trainer Effectiveness, participants will be better to able to:

• Recognize adult learner characteristics and styles to create a motivating learning environment
• Understand the roles of the trainer, role selection and impact Link behaviours and attitudes to deliberately and consistently fulfill each role
• Attain flexibility in adapting your speaking, preaching and training style to best meet your congregational or team needs
• Understand the types of feedback and demonstrate the skills of reinforcing performance and offering improvement suggestions
• Understand three types of discussion and apply a variety of questioning techniques
• Understand the structure of activities and relate these concepts to adult learning and trainer roles
• Demonstrate the effective use of delivery techniques that enhance professional presence.
• Identify and categorize challenging behaviors and select appropriate techniques for working with them
• Resolve challenges effectively and maintain participants’ involvement in the training session
