Habitudes furnishes images that teach leadership truths. They will enable youths to wisely influence their world. Images stick. Images illustrate. They carry layers of reality. You’ve heard it before: a picture is worth a thousand words.

The Habitudes series is a great tool for youth ministries and schools to begin to impart leadership truths and create a leadership culture within the community. The Leadership Development Cycle helps ministry leaders plan a sustainable ongoing process of leadership development within the ministry.

Habitudes facilitates the development of in-depth accountable inter-relationships among young people and allows a mentor to make the learning process experiential and interactive. It is a simple, profound way to connect with students and teach them character and leadership. Within the series, they cover self-leadership, connecting with others in community, leading others and changing organizational culture.

The Young Man in the Mirror

Duration: 1 day with 6 follow-up small group sessions

A man’s most intense need is his desire to do something with his life – to be significant, to make his life count. We are created to make a difference, and a man cannot find happiness until he discovers the purpose for which he exists.

The Young Man in the Mirror is a door for young men in their late teens, a rite of passage that will teach them what it means to be a man, how to get along with their family members, how to treat young women, how to handle sexual temptation, and how to find God’s will for their lives.

This course will help answer common questions young men face, “What does it mean to be a man? How do you become one?” The Young Man in the Mirror gives young men the opportunity to do it right the first time.
